Don't use an obvious password, if possible use some weird letters and numbers, for example: 'X24r_aVF9a'.

The secret question should not be too obvious, you can use something like: Q: 'What’s your father’s name?' A: 'mushroom'.

Don’t say your password to nobody, Microsoft never ask you for your password! If you say your password someone we recommend you to change it fast because that person can change your password before you change it.

Never execute unknown files, they can be keyloggers which can get your password. Be sure that the program that you execute is from a trusted person.

There are some viruses that are transmitted via MSN/WL Messenger. If you recipe a strange web-address like “Hey look this gallery http://xxxxxxxxxx.com/gallery.exe” don’t accept it, it’s probably a virus that you’ll transmit via WLM if you accept it.
